ABOUT THE OWNER

Maria Apodaca is the proud owner and lead baker/decorator of Mocha Magic Cafe & Bakeshop, a cozy small-batch bakery nestled in downtown Modesto, California. A Modesto native, Maria discovered her passion for baking at just seven years old, delighting friends and family with her creations. After graduating from Modesto Junior College, she embarked on a 20-year journey in the bakery industry at Old Tyme Pastries. When Maria isn't crafting sweet treats at the bakeshop, you'll likely find her on the tennis courts or tending to her garden, where she enjoys the company of her beloved bunnies.
